Paweł Czyżewski

Paweł is an attorney-at-law specializing in real estate, construction and commercial law. He has extensive experience advising both domestic and international investors on complex real estate transactions, including both asset and share deals, across all sectors of the real estate market. Paweł has been involved in a significant number of real estate transactions in Poland, advising investment funds and developers.
His practice includes negotiating commercial lease agreements for both landlords and tenants in relation to warehouse, retail and office space, as well as hotels and mixed-use developments. He also advises clients on a broad range of other real estate-related matters, including negotiating property management agreements, construction contracts and service agreements.
Paweł also supports domestic and international entrepreneurs in their day-to-day business operations, including corporate matters.
Prior to joining DLP, Paweł gained professional experience at leading international and Polish law firms in Warsaw.
- Legal advice to an Israeli fund on the acquisition and financing of the acquisition of an office building located in Warsaw (transaction value approx. EUR 100 million);
- Comprehensive legal advice to a German investment fund on the sale of an office building in Warsaw (transaction value approx. EUR 250 million);
- Legal advice to a Dutch e-commerce company on a sale & leaseback transaction of a modern logistics center with an area exceeding 130,000 sqm;
- Legal advice to a Hungarian developer on the acquisition of an office building in Warsaw, including legal due diligence and negotiation of the sale agreement;
- Legal advice to a U.S. investment fund on the acquisition of a logistics asset portfolio (sale & leaseback transaction);
- Legal advice on the acquisition of a significant European industrial asset portfolio, including more than 10 assets located in Poland;
- Comprehensive legal advice to a Czech investment fund on the acquisition of two logistics parks;
- Legal advice to a Chinese fund on the acquisition of a logistics park located in the Mazowieckie region;
- Legal advice to an Israeli retail park operator on several retail park acquisition transactions;
- Legal advice to an Austrian investment fund on the acquisition of a portfolio of 7 DIY stores located in Poland;
- Legal advice to the owner of a hotel building, including comprehensive renegotiation of the hotel management agreement, hotel lease agreement, and other related agreements concerning a 4-star hotel located in the Małopolskie region;
- Legal advice regarding the acquisition by an investment fund of a hotel located in Gdańsk;
- Legal advice to the landlord on the execution of a lease agreement concerning a hotel (over 150 rooms);
- Legal advice to the tenant – a German operator – on the negotiation and execution of a lease agreement and the takeover of a hotel business of one of the largest hotels in Poznań;
- Provision of comprehensive legal advice in the field of asset management concerning office, retail, and logistics properties.
